The HH Partnership
We Make Leaders Better
Effective leadership doesn't happen by accident.
Effective leadership requires a thorough knowledge of core principles, and these need to be understood, practiced and applied consistently.
Unfortunately, many team leaders have no foundational knowledge. The appointment of ‘accidental’ leaders can lead to disengaged team members, low staff retention levels and poor productivity.
The 2025 Gallup Employee Survey identified 74% of all employees being disengaged, or psychologically unattached from their role. Effective leadership will help turn this problem around.
The Leadership Gap
82%
of new UK managers are 'accidental leaders'. Promoted for their experience and ability, but stepping into leadership without formal training or practical guidance.

WHO WE ARE
The HH Partnership was founded to close this gap.
We predominantly work with ‘accidental leaders’, providing training and practical guidance. We also work with those who are new to leadership roles and those who are established team leaders who want to learn how to improve their leadership capability.
Our approach is grounded in first-hand leadership experience. We believe leadership training and development is most effective when it is delivered by people who have themselves led and hence understand the realities and responsibilities of leading others.
We know what works.

WORKING WITH CLIENTS
Leadership development built around the people who lead.
We partner with organisations and individuals to develop capable confident leaders, and we do this in four ways.
Foundational Team Leadership Programmes:
Our foundational programmes give team leaders a practical grounding in the principles and responsibilities of effective leadership. Informed by our own experience of leading and instructing, we concentrate on imparting the building blocks that enable confident and effective leadership.
Programmes can be delivered over one or two days, adapted to the organisation and tailored for different levels of leadership and experience.
Small Group Coaching:
Small group coaching brings together leaders facing similar responsibilities and developmental needs. Attendance numbers are kept deliberately small to facilitate individual attention and meaningful interaction with the coaches.
Coaching can be delivered as a standalone intervention or as a continuation of one of our leadership programmes.
Executive Coaching:
Leaders will not readily ask for help from their line managers, are unlikely to seek advice from peers or HR and may even turn to AI to discuss their concerns.
Our executive coaching provides a confidential environment in which leaders can examine and discuss problematic issues with an experienced practitioner who understands the realities of leadership.
The relationship between client and coach is personal and supportive, combining mentorship, constructive discussion, coaching and practical guidance.
Leadership Development and Evaluation Courses in the Wild
We work alongside partners who specialise in conducting courses outside the office and often in places considered ‘challenging’. We create programmes that can both develop leadership skills and evaluate leadership potential.
These programmes are based on military assessment courses and are adapted for the corporate environment. Because we believe leaders can be ‘made’, it is these types of courses that uncovers leadership potential.
Programmes will demand input from HR departments and sponsoring entities so that there is complete agreement on aims and objectives. The amount of ‘challenge’ can be adapted to suit the level required by the client firm
